We parked in the Alpental Ski area parking lot (3000') and crossed this bridge to reach the ski area... Denny Mtn is in the background.

We hiked to the top of the beginner/intermediate chairlift and here rodman and larman are heading for the top of the Armstrong Express chairlift.

At the top of the Armstrong Express chairlift we have found the sun.

The beginning of the Edelweiss Chair with fog covered Keechelus Lake in the distance... this is where we start hiking into the bowl on the southeast side of Denny Mtn.

We first crossed under the chairlift and then started working our way up and then back over to the lift where these 3 posts are located.

We will use the gully to the right of the cliffy area to get up on Denny's southeast ridge.
