Our first side trip was to a bump at 6320'... just north of Paddy-Go-North (Point 6573)... left to right... Mt. Stuart, Tucquala Peak (Point 6821), two unnamed bumps, Paddy-Go-South (Point 6566), Hawkins Mtn on the horizon, and the unnamed bump just south of Paddy-Go-Easy Pass.

Our second side trip took us over to Sprite Lake south of Paddy-Go-Easy Pass... goats are coming up from the lake to greet us.

On the second day we left camp at 5:30 a.m. to give back 1200 feet of elevation down to French Creek and try to beat the sun up to the 6600' south ridge of The Cradle.

We found the meadow that will give us the easiest access to the 6600' south ridge of The Cradle.
